The Hen of the woods balaclava is knitted from the top down seamless and features a honeycomb frill!

2 skeins of Qing Fibre Veranita (79% cashmere, 21% silk; 300m/325yds to 25g) or any laceweight yarn. MC yarn is held as 3 strands and is used for the crown, head and frill; CC yarn is held as 2 strands and used for the neck and face edging. (sample 1 and 2 use more colours then the pattern guide)

MC: crown/frill - candlelight, head - coral reef. CC: face edge - tamagotchi (Dashing Fingering), neck - peach

sample 2 - green
MC: head - Sage, frill - Butterscotch. CC: face edge/neck -Mint
